    Sometimes the triplefins won't sit still for 5 seconds, other times they just pose for you!:D

    Martin, what a cute fish! First off, I like how close you got to him - you did a good job of showing him and a bit of his environment. I'd look at sharpening the fish a bit more as he feels just a bit out of focus (OOF) and then perhaps tone down some of the spectral highlights (hot spots) that you have in the background due to the flash. Would also have been nice to see him tilting his head down so we could get a good head on view so try that next time and see if he'll cooperate. Would be neat to see both bug eyes coming right at us!

    Hi Julie, the lens was around 25-30cm away from the fish. I have lots of shots of these so will probably be able to find plenty on a different angle. Thanks for your advice and I'll work on it today.
