    Default Winter Ermine

I was driving around looking for swans one day when I saw something black move across someone's driveway. It turned out to be this ermine's black-tipped tail.

Welcome Don to BPN, a nice opportunistic shot here.
You'll need to post your tech's with this image so we can critique it further.
As it stands, it appears you have just missed AF on the Ermine and the exp needs boosting.
    Thanks for sharing.

    Don,
    Welcome to BPN!

I agree with Marc's comments. Also, a vertical would have been better here.

    Cheers,

    Hi Don

Agree with comments also ... original was under exposed by at least one stop, in the re post just set the white point in levels and made a slight adjustment in curves plus sharpening. Then cropped to vertical and removed on little branch behind the critter !! Does make a difference !!! Neat little guy and do like the capture, always good to have that direct eye contact !! ....btw do drop over by ETL if you want some extra help with PS !!!

Welcome, And I like what Alferd has done, the vertical crop really works.
