    This photo was taken in Ft. Desoto Beach a few years ago.
    It was coming in for a landing on a sand bar during low tide. All comments welcome. Thanks

    I really like this image and congratulate you on making a great picture
    of an elusive subject. The sharpness is spot on, and I love the bokeh. The
    post processing has just the right exposure and saturation for my tastes.
    I like the cropping, as well, and have no suggestions as to how to improve
    this fine shot.

    Lovely catch of this skimmer, love the fact that he is looking you straight in the eye. Could be nice if you placed a gradient layer as BG to make the transition less obvious.

    Good exposure control here with what looks like harsh light you had. I do wish the near wing was at a better position (higher). Unfortunately the combination of light and near wing angles has created a large shadow across the body. As posted the face could stand another round of sharpening.
