    I've selectively lightened up the bird quite a bit. I'm afraid if I go any further it will loose too much.

    Hi Ken,

    I think the bird could be brighter and some of the background pretty distracting (even to me :)).

    I worked on your image a bit to show you what I think would be better. I still don't like the branches at the top though.

    I like the blossoms and head turn and agree with an alternative crop. I would also try to lighten the eye a bit.

    Thanks for the comments.

    I run a horse facility which is probably why I left the horse in the final crop but I have to agree that it does look a lot better with the tighter crop.
