Great flight pose with nice eye contact. I like the blue BG. Just picked up my Mark IV today; it won't be long before I'm back in So. Cal. Of course I've got to get back from that other trip first.

Interesting FedEx dropped off my Mark IV today too :)

I'll be packing up my EF 800 and Mark IV and flying back to Iowa after Bald Eagle images for a week. Then I'll be headed down south from Nor_Cal to BC for a few SJWS and BC Shots.

Nice image I really like the crisp colors and tack sharp flight shot.

Yes, the wing position is fantastic, and the light angle/BG very good. Perhaps it is not the most beautifull duck in the world but the image is very good. Love the green glossy shining in the speculum feathers

Not sure how you could think think that is a ugly bird. Beautiful to me. Looks really sharp also and the wing position...perfect.

Perfect shot, Jim. I'm been working with BIF's and I still have a long way to go in catching these sreaming demons. I get so spastic when I get the bird in my frame..........

    Ugly bird?

This is a handsome duck! Love the killer BG, wing position and eye contact. Sweet light! TFS.
