Thanks in advance for your comments and suggestions.

Nice one, was this side light. Face and eye seem to be in a shadow area. Might have some hot pixels in the reflective edges of the body - did histogram show any clipping? Noticed you used AV mode, any exposure compensation to help meter counter the light against the white surface.
Love the BG, watch out for the HA police - well done.
ps
There is a "Head Angle Police" Thread/Tutorial in the Educational Forum - Artie and others have combined valuable input in an e-mail thread, nice read.

Hi - Jeff is correct - The HAP have you under observation. :) A little head turn would have improved.
Agree wit Jeff's Fine critique - some of the whites do look like they will be hot.
Looking forward to seeing more :)
Agree with advice !! Can add to go with a tighter crop, will post below.
btw with these close up images you want the right head angle for a couple of reason, one is is must more appealing having a bird looking just your way than away, second the tip of the beak will be in the same plane as the eye making both sharp ... very limited dof !!
Hi Lady Mirenchu,
I like the dark green background, it showcases your subject quite well. I agree with the exposure techs. and the sound advise given. For your next one I would like you to be a little patient and wait for Mr. Bird to turn his head more in your direction for a better head angle. You have details in the feathers, but the light angle is producing shadows. Looking forward to your next one...
