    Nutria is a south american rodent with a large diet of grass, roots, etc. The Nutria was introduced to Louisana (USA) to supplement the fur trade. The fur trade has died off and these guys have multiplied. I found this guy in Jacksonville, FL; well out of the area of introduction. The nutria has a root ball in his mouth.
    Nikon D300s, 200-400mm at 400mm with a 1.4X, iso 200, f7.1 and 1/250

    Slight crop all around, processing in PS CS4

    Nice and sharp, maybe a crop from bottom to go more of a pano format. Puts a little more attention on nutria. Nice getting him in the open.

    Do love the detail and nice sharp eye. I agree about crop off the bottom.
