ID help please!

Hi Everyone!
Can anyone ID this little bird for me? I think that it might be a black striped sparrow but I'm not sure. Taken last April in Savegre, Costa Rica. (Cloud forest).

I don't think it's a Black-striped Sparrow Nicki- the black mask on the face is much too think. I don't know what it is yet however!

It looks like Sooty-capped Bush-Tanager to me. Was it above 2000m?

Yes, the bird was above 2000m. I have just googled Sooty-Capped Bush Tanager and I think that you are correct Ilija, although my initial thought was that the bird seems too small to be a tanager - all the ones that I saw were larger than this. I guess that this little fellow is the exception that proves the rule!
