This little fellow and a few of his colleagues were running around on the mud flats of Bunche Beach on the afternoon that I visited there in November. They didn't stay put for long. Unfortunately this guy's bill is almost the same color as the BG and doesn't stand out as well as I might have wished. Otherwise, I was happy to capture one of these tiny peeps. C&C appreciated as always.

Like the HA and eye contact - love the sharp details.
I might crop some more from the top - agree with your comment on the beak - not too bad though.

Nice feather detail on the little guy, Bill. Like you, I was excited to photograph one of these a couple months ago; mine would not give me a proper head angle though....:( Another plus for yours.

I like the composition, image and capture. I like the sharp feather details and the head angle with the sharp eye. The color rendition is very good. The low capture angle is a plus...agree with slicing a little off the top...good show, looking forward to your next one...:cool:
