A pair of Ospreys on a nest in Grand Teton National Park. Midmorning light was a little bright, but coming from the right direction. Was able to spend a good deal of time with the birds as they were coming and going from the nest.
Canon EOS-1D Mark III, f/10, 1/1000, ISO 400, 500mm f/4 Canon lens. May be a little too much background on upper part of photo.

    Louis,
I think a little more nest and a little less sky might've been nice, but I like the had angles and the dynamic sense of the landing osprey. On my monitor there's a bit of a halo, sharpening effect? And, above the right wing of the landing bird there may be a dust spot.
Nice detail and you were not too far below the nest, it seems.

Ditto Sarah (great critique!). The halo looks like the kind resulting from aggressive S/H?

    P.S. Welcome to BPN Louis!
