    Wonderful comp and BG. Might lighten the eye a bit. Eye contact is great , just needs to be a little lighter.

    Nice seeing him just out of his bath !! For the eye my darken the pupil a bit and rest would appear lighter !!! Mighty fine as presented !!!!

    Ken, beautiful portrait, like the expression and the mud. You have captured their funny look well. I may try a linear burn on the horn to see the effect. Thanks for the extra info, did not know they are that fast!

    Hi Ken, might suggest to have a tinker with 'Curves' > Custom tab > Linear or contrast pre set. I just think it needs a bit of punch, however viewing it on laptop so...:D

    Had a tinker with Curves/linear contrast, S/H tool & USM (selective layers).
    Hope you don't mind. A nice portrait with pleasing BG.

    Very pleasing image with nice bg, agree with a little more punch and slight darkening of the pupil. I might take just a little off the rhs and bottom.

    Hi Ken, Before reading anything I thought Mokala - they must be born with the mud on their faces, its still there a year after our visit! Lovely mugshot of one of our ugliest ungulates, co;our very true!
