I took this picture on Ft. Desoto beach. I liked the flow of the water behind the bird and the leg up showing the walking.

Camera Model: Canon EOS-1D Mark II
    Shutter speed: 1/2000 sec
    Aperture: 5.6
    Exposure mode: Av
    Exposure compensation: +1
    Flash: Off
    Metering mode: Multi-segment
    ISO: 400
    Lens: 600mm
    Focal length: 840mm

Looking forward to all comments. Thanks

I like the striding pose, head angle and use of DOF. I wish the water in the BG would not merge wit the bird and would tone down the whites a bit.

Walking like a model on a fashion ramp. I like the pose, HA, and the effect of the DOF.

Yep --nice one! Love the bird and comp. The water green seems too dark and you could have picked up a bit more DOF with a wider aperture seeing that you had the head room at 1/2000. You could have shot at 1/500 maybe even for f11. Still a sweet shot. Toning down the dark green will give the bird more power.
