    Default Geese in the fog

Some Canadian Geese in the river and some golden-eye in the backround. It was cold so the river had a fog effect to it.

    Don:

Interesting shot with the fog. I find the image too murky for my taste.

I worked on it a bit, in photoshop, made a levels adjustment, cropped up from the bottom.

Tried a B&W conversion, but prefer the bluer cast, seems colder, foggier.

Lots of options here for different looks.

I wish the middle goose didn't merge with the bird in the background. I might consider cloning it out.

    Thanks for sharing!

Welcome Don! Hope you didn't freeze anything while making this image. :) I like the fog effect, but I tend to concur with Randy here. The original version is quite dark and I would suggest trying to brighten it. IMO, the image would be stronger if the goldeneyes were flying toward you rather than away and if all of the Canada geese were looking toward you. I would be tempted to remove the duck just behind the middle goose and the one clipped by the edge of the frame. Keep them coming.
