Not the most spectacular image, action or behavior wise but it is one of the cleanest shots I have gotten on this species and I liked the light and proud pose.

Excellent photo. Perfect for a field guide. Loved the angle, the head turn, the BG, exposure, sharpness, light....in short, everything. Thanks for sharing.

Hello Krijin. A lovely subject these are. Looks like plenty of sharpness and accredited to great lighting. A nice warmth in the colors of the body. The perch seems to suspend this Turnstone against the sky nicely. IMO it does seem that there may be room to open up the shadow levels a bit to perhaps get a bit more detail toward the tail and show better texture on the perched area thus also giving better separation to the feet and toenails of them.
I would agree a very clean image and a fine presentation on your part.

What's not to like here? :) Great light, pose, background, sharpness, low shooting angle, etc. Well done.

Lots to like here. Great low angle, lighting, detail and a nice pose. Excellent profile of this species.

Everything looks spot on to me - excellent work. If anything maybe slightly too big in the frame for me.
