    Default Romantic Rose

I used an image of a rose that I had in my files and added a "romantic" style overlay. Changed the color tones in the BG by adding a new layer at 20% opacity. I then added a slight blur vignette in Color-efex. I wanted to reveal a bit of the overlay thru the rose.

Beautiful, romantic, and well done. The vignette blur works well here.

That rose looks vaguely familiar... it's so nice to see it again! :) Beautiful feel to this piece, Denise...I love how the writing barely shows through but it is enough that it adds to the romantic feel of the piece. Beautiful, soft color palette - and I really like how the texture/overlay brightens up right at the top of the rose. Lovely image.

Thankyou all for your kind words.
Jules, You are right this is my sig. rose. w/o the blur treatment. I still love roses that are open and that smell pretty and esp. that color! :)
