    Default Simple Setup-Chipping Sparrow

    Attached Images Attached Images

Winter subdued plumage of a Chipping Sparrow perched on a pine cone.
Weakness I notice is that the cone is cut off by the edge and next time would have included this more.

    Very nice image Charles,
I really like the colours in this one...bird, perch and BG complement each other nicely. Looks like it was taken under very bright conditions and the birds seems perhaps a little overexposed on my monitor.

Nicely done, crisp, neat and lovely perch.

    Chas:

I like the basic setup, and agree with your self critique on cutting off the bottom of the left cone.

The eye doesn't seem quite sharp to me. The right pine cone is very sharp in general, but the bird seems a bit soft.

    Background with complimentary colors.

    Cheers

I really like the perch, pose and background. Sharp focus seems to be on the right cone, bird appears to be a little soft.
