Thought it only proper to post one of my favorite images for my 1000th post. This was a captive Ferruginious Hawk that we had the great fortune to photograph as a set up while working with one of our local rehabers. They were kind enough to bring out a great variety of magnificent birds , but this one was my fav. I converted to B&W as I felt the monotone added to the majesty of this creature.
Hi Joe, I like the black and white presentation. I agree with Callie de Wet that presentation is very nice and certainly doesn't appear captive. NIce details and pose. Congratulations on your 1000th post. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to seeing many more.
Very nice Joe and thanks and congrats on the 1K. Love the pine tree setting. With the pretty bright light from the hard left the whites could use some more density. A Linear Burn might be in order.
