Glenn, loved the low angle and the environment. Open beak too. I wouldn't mind it to be a little underexposed though. Another suggestion is little crop from below and some space at the top.
I like the water droplets on feathers and the blurred water in front does not bother me say as much as a stationary foreground such as plants. Too much cropping and would start to approach the imaginary feet.
The setting and colours make this one for me. Love the water droplets on its back.
How do you get these birds to pose for you like this?? We get the European version of your dipper in Belgiums streams but you can merely see them there.........I hope you will be willing to answer me back on this one.....
