    Default Horned Lark

This is another image I made in a local field a few days ago. It was rather cold and windy.

I know nothing about this bird but my guess is you nailed this. The detail looks perfect from here.

The bright areas to the right of his head and chest. draw my attention and I might be inclined to to down that area.

Technically perfect IMO. Pretty simple image but nicely done. Excellent for a field guide.

Beautiful, the bird is spot on and the detail of the snow is superb.

Axel, you nailed this picture. The exposure and sharpness is spot on. I have only seen these birds out west. Didn't realize you had them in your neck of the woods. Absolutely gorgeous details. The only thing that could top this is he had his "horns" up.

Axel...loved this image a lot. Awesome job on the exposure. You are the best at that. Like how the snow has lit the shadow portion of the bird.

It all comes together here. Exposure, detail and comp. combine to make a sweet image.

Nice details and color. The snow makes a nice backdrop for him.

Perfect pose, and you have exposed this very well, both lark and the snow.

Great shot of a species I would really love to see! The details are great as is the snowy setting. On my work monitor there is a white patch in the BG on the right of the bird that looks as if it needs to be toned down a bit (could be my crappy work monitor though) ;)
