    Was able to capture one in the open this past Saturday at Wakodahatchee Wetlands just after sunrise.

    Nikon D3, Sigma 300-800 @800mm, F6.7, 1/1000, ISO 400, Aperture Priority, Exposure Comp @+.5,

    I like the walking pose Oscar. The color rendition and the feather details...the focus point is not on the eye, it was on the lower neck area. The eye is a tad soft, would selective sharpen it...aside from this, you did well, I like it...looking forward to your next one...:cool:

    Like the colours - a little more room up front for my personal tastes.
    How long you had the D3?? - Or did I just not see that.

    I've had it for close to a year now. D3X I'm sure :eek: Need about 6 more month before I can get mine. Congrats

    Nope - D3S - BETTER High ISO than the D3X - More pixels are not necessarily better.
