Great wing detail and sharpness! The catch adds to an already great image.

Excellent exposure and I like the details in the whites. For me (and this is personal taste) I like to see what it's about to land on. Was the nest on a man made structure?

    Duane,

    Thanks for your time.

No nets was not on a man made structure. It was on a dead cypress tree.

Superb image, Sid. I agree with previous positive comments. I like the BG sky colors and the light on the top of the rear wing.

Super sharp, great lighting, awesome detail in the wing, fantastic pose. Not much else I can say! I trust that by you taking out the cypress tree that it was distracting. Gorgeous image!

This is superb, Sid. Lovely soft light showing the detail beautifully - sharp with just a hint of blur to add dynamism. Gory fish is the topping on the cake:)

There is nothing that I don't like about this capture. The light, pose and catch really make it special.

An excellent BIF, the snack is good enough and the nest is not a requirement IMO. We seldom get any raptors near/at nests in Africa. I guess it is what one is used to seeing, and I believe Florida is sort of osprey heaven form all the pictures I have seen - lol.

    Stunning Osprey!
Love the fact that it's got its meal and there are good details there. Great wing position also.

I agree super picture. The nest would be personal. How about posting the picture with the nest and see what people think

Really beautiful image. Love the eye contact, overall sharpness, pose and prey item, but the blue BG gradient really takes it over the edge for me.
