Thought I'd share some more highlights of current Eagle action in my neck of the woods. Lighting here is poor @ISO 400 was getting 1/50 of a sec expo. Be that as it may I would have preferred behavioral images to be of better quality however I still enjoy looking at these as simple remembrances. Hope you all enjoy. I have started a blog which will discuss any thing having from Nature Photography to the economy to recipes. I encourage you all to visit and post your input, prose etc. Here is the link http://onearth-electriccannoli.blogs...-me-think.html

You caught some great behavior in this image, but I probably would have gone up to ISO 800 or even 1600 in these lighting conditions to try and get at least part of the birds sharp. In terms of composition, the birds are very centered vertically. I probably would also have panned a bit to the right to get some leading space on the rightmost bird. If it were sharp, you could possibly crop out the right bird and have a nicely composed image.

Really don't like using higher ISO as it limits usage of the image later on down the road however I do appreciate you thoughts.

Well, depending on what body you are using, ISO 800 doesn't limit it too much. I would argue that motion blur is much more damaging :) When you just don't have quite enough light, it is all about trade-offs. I usually prefer to go with noise over blur.
