    Default Mad Flasher Bald Eagle

Took this photo in Feb 09. Yes I'm that far behind in Post Processing. I have approx 10,000 photos I haven't even viewed yet from various trips. I am just staring to process these photos from a year ago before I make my return trip in two more weeks for more wintering Bald Eagles.

    Anthony,
Lovely image. The size of image posted exceeds the max. allowed. Please repost an image with the longest side at 1024. The small water splash adds to the image.

    Cheers,

Splash, low angle, ice formations, and incredible look of concentration make this image for me. I do wish the near wing was fully extended and the far one less in shadows, but still pretty darn nice!! Good luck catchinmg up to your post processing!

Thumb is showing a different image?

Fantastic image. I like the pose, the water splash, the look on its face and the light on its left side.

The details in this capture are just outstanding. Love that the action/behavior and environment are all included. Wish for less shadows in the wings, but it is what it is and it's great.

The look of concentration peaks my interest of what he sees. It appears he may be trying to break through the ice for a meal. Nice range of sharpness starting at the tip of the beak and rolling back over the head and down the chest. A powerful pose.
