    Default Female Northern Harrier banking

This is a female specie banking right before dive. eye contact is not as strong as I would have preferred but I still like the details. Hope you like it too, this shot was taken in last light on Dec 31st, 2009. My last shot of the decade :D

top banking pose and details, Hawkman...
the harrier pops nicely against the BG.

are you now happier with your 7D than at first?

    Thanks Morkel for nice comments.
For shots against sky it works and did work well at first, against buys/changing BG I will hopefully have better luck when I get my 500 f/4 next week, with bird being larger in the frame I can cover the entire AF areas with the bird so I don't get intermittent locks on the BG :)

I like the head angle, banking pose and natural colours. Very good exposure against a bright sky. Lovely image Arash.

Nice banking pose. I am sure you will enjoy shooting even more with the new 500mm.

The banking angle and eye contact makes this for me. Good dorsal detail, and I would maybe darken the sky a tad.

I like the topside view and the head turn toward you. Also like the subtle shading of the BG sky. A nice way to finish out the decade.

Didn't notice this one before. Great detail and a nice banking pose. What a way to finish off 2009. I think you'll be very happy with your 7D when it's paired with a 500.

Great way to end the year. Love the banked pose, light and head angle. The eye has a look of complete focus.
