    This is an interesting position! I have rarely seen a cormorant fly up in such a steep angle , IMO there is a bit too much empty sky here a vertical showing more details on the bird would be better IMO.

    Interesting pose; it makes the wings look kind of stubby. Exposure is pretty good, although an extra 1/3 of a stop of exposure might have helped bring out a little more detail in the darkest darks. Agree with Arash about a vertical crop here.
