This is a different kind of pose of this bird . Can call it a fantail shrike instead.

Ram, this is a striking image. Lookback, detail, wonderful BG, and a handsome subject. I love it. Very nice work!

I like the lookback pose, and what lovely detail and colours. Killer BG.

Ram, this is an excellent image, the pose, details of the bird & perch everything perfect. I feel the BG needs noise remover.

Excellent pose, good perch and BG. I do wish the plumage was in better condition though. Details, especially on the head and face, look a little smoothed-out...did you run NR on the subject?

Thanks for the repost Ram. Although there is some noise on the bird the detail is better and doesn't have a "smoothed-oout" look. Always best to apply NR on the BG only.

Ram, you'll need to select the bird and perch with either a Quick Mask (preferred), or the Lasso Tool. Once done, inverse selection (this will now make the BG as the selected area)and do your NR.
