    Default A Kinglet's Exercise Routine

Doesn't this Golden-crowned Kinglet seriously look like it was doing a pull-up or a chin-up? This species is usually so hard for me to capture, so just about any halfway decent shot of them is rewarding to me. This particular bird was just too funny. Man these guys are SMALL.

Ryan, just love that hanging pose, and I like the colours in the BG. I would maybe take a bit off the RHS, to create more of a vertical, and that would remove the curly part of his perch. ( some may leave it in )

Reminds me I have to exercise more! Very cute and I like the perch as is.

Love the HA, the hanging pose and how the perch is curling in the lower right corner. I might run a round on NR on the background. Just wish that the curling part of the perch is in focus too.

What a great pose! Like the perch and the BG too, although I'd be tempted to remove the red twig next to the bird. If only the kinglet had been looking to the right of the frame, it would have been a perfect image. I might also lighten the black around the eye.

Love this one -- great composition. I would not remove one part the curly part of the perch. It adds such a nice artistic touch to this image!
