I made this image 17 years ago on a trip to Banff with my friend Don Jones. It was captured on Kodachrome and scanned today while I was working on an update to my website. Kodachromes can be a pain to scan but I was really happy how this old favorite came out. Pretty sure I was using a Canon F1 and 300/4 lens. You can check out the moose gallery I worked on today here: http://www.milosphotos.com/SL_Moose/index.htm

    Hi Milo,
The mood on this is really outstanding! The scan did turn out very good. I don't mind that you didn't include the entire moose leg but I do wish for a lttle more room at the bottom. IMO The evergreen on the bottom right needs to go also.

    Milo,
This is a nice shot. I am always interested in behaviour in inclement weather conditions. I don't mind the snow hiding the leg portion. The green on the bottom could have been done away with. I am not sure if it would have been possible to exclude it and compose while shooting. Overall, I love this.

Scan came out very well! The little evergreen top at the bottom is slightly distracting, but otherwise (and despite it) this is a very pleasing image.
