    This spoonbill picture was taken in Merritt Island, Florida a few years back. They are one of my favorite birds to shoot.

    Sorry I placed this image in the wromg critique area. Any way to transfer it over to avian?

    Todd, I copied your image to avian. I like the angle, sharpness and BG. It looks as if it needs a bit CW rotation and I would prefer if the wings were up or down.

    Hi Todd - agree with Axel, wings fully up or fully down are the prime positions, you will perhaps see this referred to as the pancake pose - similar to photographing a pancake from the side.
    Like the sharpness and good ha.
