    Default American Tree Sparrow

Shot yesterday at Sandy Hook - Gateway National Park on the Jersey shore. This American tree sparrow was on this perch for only a second, against a background of snow covered dunes.

    Ryan,

Composition is perfect. Really like the way you composed this image.
Head angle, eye contact are great. Only thing I see is the OOF blade of grass in the four ground. One of the tail and another one on the left side of the bird. With of these two elements it would have been an excellent image.

I love the environment you show. The colors blend well. Unfortunately, I agree with Sid that the OOF grass obscuring the tail detracts.

I like the composition, head angle and colors in this image. OOF elements mentioned, In a perfect world I wish the weeds didn't merge with the top of the sparrow's head. It's a lovely image.
