    Default Ducks on the Prairie

These were ducks on Paynes Prairie that I shot a couple of weeks ago. I used Topaz Simplify and then a slight
poster edge. I wasn't sure of the composition of the birds - not many merging but wasn't sure if they were too
close to the edge and top?:)

Thanks for looking. Comments and suggestions are welcomed.

Cheryl I like this image. I might clone out a few of the ducks closest to the LHS of the frame. Also I might smooth out the sky a bit. I think the poster edges brought out some speckling in it. Otherwise I think it is a very nice flight shot.

I like the catch and the full flock Cheryl......pp looks good to me.
For my taste, I would eliminate some misformed/overlapped ducks in
the sky. The silhouettes are so strong. Did not remove any in foreground.

    Just an option

Nice Cheryl. Dave's repost really makes it shine. I like the combo of the simplify and poster edges.

I like the look you've goten with this..only thing I might do is, a clockwise rotation to level the background...

    Cheryl,

I love the image and treatment. I agree with the comment about levelling.

This is a view I saw many times on Jan 1 at my very first Christmas Bird Count. It was at Katy Prairie, west of Houston. Since I didn't know what to expect, I didn't bring a camera. So, I'll just have to look at this photo to remember the day.

I really like the simplify effect here Cheryl.. I too would try to eliminate some of the noise in the sky and maybe a slight CW rotation to level the trees in the bg a smidge. The bold sillouettes really work well here, nice work :)
