    Hi Vinjamoore,
I like the composition, image and capture, you have good feather details, a good head angle and sharp eye. The habitat compliments your subject quite well. My only suggestion is to diffuse or clone out the out of focus curved white line in the background thats touching your bird in the back. Aside from this, you did very well. congratulations, looking forward to your next one.

Great details on the bird and I like the soft, natural background very much.

Welcome to BPN, Vinjamoor! I like the angle, head angle and sharpness. You could try to tone down the whites on the neck/head a bit. Softer light, earlier or later in the day would have made it easier. Keep them coming!

P.S.: I fixed the link, right-click on the image you want to post and copy the image address. On this forum, click the yellow 'insert image' button above the text box and paste the link. Make sure to click on preview post first to make sure the image is properly attached. If you can't see it there, then you have to double-check.

Hi - agree with the above comments - soft light is really a necessity with black an white birds.
Like the pose, HA and eye contact.
    Good show :)

Welcome to BPN great place to learn.

Detail, HA and pose very good. Looks like light coming from the right which makes the face a little dark. I find the blade grass in front distacting. If ethics allow would clone out.

    TFS Ray:)
