I photographed the ice pattern on one of my windows this morning. I converted it to black and white and then added a bi-color filter in Nik Color Efex. Last step was to add a frosted glass pattern to it in CS4. Small amount of sharpening at the end. (Note: this had to be greatly downsized because of the intricacy of the pattern so it might not be the best quality but I think it gives enough detail that you can see what I was aiming for.)

Jules, That looks like a very cold ice pattern. Good choice w/ the bi-color filter. Would love to see the original.

Denise, here's the original. It was mostly b&w to start with but I converted it to get the last little bit of color cast out of it. Looking at it now I remembered I also flipped it a few times.

Like the tones and textures Julie, would love to see it large as I think the small version does not do it justice.
Think it would make a terrific canvas print stretched on a frame.

Jules, Thanks. It's always nice to see what you started with. Great vision for this one.

Jackie, you're right. The frosted glass filter added a whole other dimension that you can barely see here because I had to resize it by half to get it to load.

Thanks, Denise...considering I started with nothing but a pattern of crystals I think it came out rather nice!

Jules, it's amazing that the original morphed into the final image! I like the different tones - it really does look
    frosty:)
