    Default Red-bellied Woodpecker

These birds are very shy and normally fly off at the slightest movement. This one stayed very still and I was able to take this with my Nikon D200 and 300f4 and tc14e 1/60 sec @ f9 and bit of flash helped. I realize it pretty tight in the frame but it is uncropped, she was that close!

    Hi Mike,

This is very nice. Extremely sharp and lovely colors. I would love to see a little more room at the top but that's about it. You did well with the fill flash.

A great capture Mike - excellent exposure and great feather detail - very attractive image indeed but agree a little extra canvas at the top would enhance the composition.

Beautiful detail and nice and sharp. A very nice image indeed. I too would like more room if you are inclined to stretch it a little....either way, a very nice job as is!!
