    Default Red-tailed Hawk ???

I took these yesterday along the James River in Williamsburg Va. What is throwing me on the ID is the combination of the white breast and dark eye. From what I have researched the white breast is common with the light adult, but the dark eye is common with the dark adult. Or have I totally mis-identified it?

(I hope it is ok to post 2 images)

    Thanks and Happy New Year,
    Peter

Looks like a Red-tailed Hawk to me, too.

Looks like a typical adult Eastern Red-Tailed Hawk. There are dark morphs of this species but mainly in the West. All adults have dark eyes, the juveniles have yellow eyes. Agree, nice shots.
