    Taken last fall at Kouchibouguac National Park, New Brunswick, Canada.
    5D Mark II, 300 2.8, 1.4TC, f5.6, 1/2500, iso 400,
    cropped, dodged and burned areas to bring out detail around eye and tone down white areas, removed some oof distracting rocks in bg.

    I like the head angle and walking pose in this one. Since the reflection does not look so great, I would crop it as a horizontal and it looks as if it needs a bit CCW rotation. If it were mine I would remove some of the dark spots in the BG.

    The repost looks better. I would probably crop a bit more off top and bottom where the reflection of the legs ends.

    I like your final re-post the best. The bird looks great. Maybe clean up the dark spots in the BG.
