I like the angle and look-back pose and would crop a bit off the left to get the bird out of the center and wish there were a catchlight.
Hi Gary, i like the look back poser and agree with Axel on cropping some from the right also maybe a touch more contrast added to the image.

Good lookback pose, and good to see the feather detail on the wings. I agree with Axel regarding the comp.
Thanks for the suggestions. Its hard to get a catch light in a cloud.

Beautiful colour palette and sharpness, I agree either a crop on left or more canvas on the right. Sweet image.
Beat me to it:)
Gary, lovely image. I like the repost, great details and colours are fabulous. I'd love to have this in my gallery.
The repost looks great Gary! Rather than a catchlight, I might lighten the iris a little more to give some more life to the eye. It was far too windy for a Beamer, and it really was overcast. I love the snow hanging from the perch. Here's a photo of Gary from the top of the mountain (10,600 feet).

Very COOL Gary! Nice perch and sharpness. I like Doug's suggestion of lightening the iris. If it was too windy for a beamer, you can always use the pop-up flash if you have one! This would by just right for a catch light, if that's what you want.
