    Default Ink Doodle!

This tree looks a blob of black ink that is spread all over by blowing through a straw. Instead of paper, medium here is the beautiful dawn sky of Western Ghats. Thanks for looking and appreciate your views.

This is my final post for 2009. I have learnt a lot being a part of this great forum. Thanks a lot.

Wish you all a very happy new year. Happy clicking!

    D700, 24-70mm @24mm, 1/30s, f4.5, ISO 200, cropped a bit from left and right.

    PP in CS3, levels, curves.

    regards,

Hi Ramesh,A happy and healthy new year to you and your family. I like this image alot!! The silouette is strong, framed nicely and very interesting to look at. The early lit sky adds the final touch to a most pleasing image!!

Beautiful composition, Ramesh. Love the morning sky in the bg. Agree with Roman on the simplicity of the image.

The silhouette really accentuates the color gradation in the sky. Beautiful in its simplicity, as Roman said.

Beautiful! The thick black "hill" in LRC actually achors the whole image very nicely. I wouldn't mind seeing the warmer colours a little more vibrant, but love the feel as is. I remember blowing ink through a straw in art class as a younger lad, and yes this does look alot like that:).

    Ramesh,

Well executed for the reasons mentioned. I like the cold-toned look of the image. Warming it up is easily done as suggested if you so desire.
