The steppe buzzard is a summer visitor to South Africa. I am sure forum members may have suggestions for an alternative crop. I like the space in this image. Wishing all a prosperous 2010!

Elmar, I like the alert pose, and you have captured some good feather detail. Comp wise, I would take a bit off the bottom ( at least half between the bottom of the image and the feet)

A great pose that you have captured well. I agree with Stuart on the crop. Maybe a tad light.

Hi Elmer, A very nice looking raptor I agree with crop suggestion the boulder is a little to dominate in the frame and I thought the mid tones could be brought down a little and since I had it in PS I lighten the left side of the face using curves and a layer mask. Let me know if you like my adjustments.

Nice capture Elmar. I adjusted the temperature to get a blue sky. As well I have offered an alternative crop which leads you into the image along the ridge in the rock leading up to the buzzard.
