    Default Singing Yellowthroat

    This is a photo that I took back in 2007 not too long after I first got my own camera. This male yellowthroat had chosen our blackberry patch for his territory, so almost every morning for awhile I was able to follow him with my camera as he sang on the bushes.

    On this photo, I cloned out a number of twigs and gave the BG a pass of noise reduction. I also did a slight curves adjustment and sharpened the bird's head a bit. The reflections were added using the tutorial here: http://www.planetphotoshop.com/photo...on-effect.html.

    Christopher, Good job w/ the twig clean-up. Esp. the ones you removed from the bird. The reflection is a fun addition. Thanks for the link.
