    I love watching these birds. I was fortunate to have this one slow down and strike a pose for me.
    There was some orange glow from some leaves in the upper right and lower left hand corner I tried to blend out. This was taken at a refuge where bird lovers put out some seed.

    I like the composition and the head turn a lot. BG is good and helps to isolate the bird. The image looks a bit on the cold side of the spectrum in my monitor and I would add an aditional touch of USM to the bird just for a better web presentation. Keep them coming :)

    I like the angle, head turn and BG. I agree on sharpening the bird a tad more and would increase the color temperature a few degrees since the whites look a bit blueish.

    Nice pose, perch, and BG. I agree more shrpening on the woodpecker would be good. I don't mind the overall colours here, but do agree the whites could go less blue. You could selectively desaturate the blue channel to good effect.
