Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and is going to have a Happy New Year.

Shot this photo on a very bland day. I shot it for HDR. and did some cropping etc in PS.

Very nice Vince. The colors are great and I like the composition. The riverbank and weir lead the eye nicely to the mill, which is well placed according to the ROT. A handsome image and good work with the HDR. On my monitor there is a bit of strange yellow cast to parts of the dramatic sky. A very Happy New Year to you!

How picturesque, Vince!! Very nicely composed! The stormy clouds add to it. I would tone down the highlights in the clouds and maybe brighten the rest of the image a bit. Or, you could just crop from the top, losing the brightest of the clouds. Could add a bit of sharpening.

    Hi Vince,
This is very beautiful. I like the HDRI rendition...suggestion...I would lighten the overall image just a little, and give it a slight clock wise rotation, aside from this, its a wall hanger...well done Sir. Wishing you and your family a Very Happy New Year...:)

Hi Vine Looking mighty fine, glad you went for an HDR !!

Might try some light smoothing for the white areas in the clouds, seems to help !! Also can take just a little of the bottom and will move the shoreline from the center I like it a lot and the processing is very realistic !! Big Congrats !!!

Nice job! Where is that mill? I have a retouch of it on my website, on the Portfolio page about halfway down. I don't even recall where I got it. Same mill, for sure.

Nice shot Vince, I like your comp and colours. For high contrast in the clouds light smoothing set to max helps soften the look of them.
