    Had to wait for almost 2 hours to get this shot with a tripod .

    Lovely wing pose , nice looking eye and BG here, you have freezed wings very well
    Looks tad oversharpned but that can be corrected very easily

    Re-post looks good. I might take a little off the left just to move the subject off center. Just my own taste.

    Re-post is definitely an improvement as the first was way oversharpened. I'd prefer more room in front and below. I like the typical kingfisher hovering pose - nice with the wing fully outstretched :).
