    Default American wigeon

Similar to the post I made last time but with both birds' wings extended. The bg isn't as clean but I think it has a framing effect along with the vegetation below the birds. A looser crop than I normally prefer so let me know what you think.

Nick I like the crop. The birds really pop from the blurred BG. Very nice indeed!! The only thing I might do is clean up the bottom water. The birds are sharp with a nice sparkle in the eyes. Well done!!

I think this is a great BIF shot, with good wing and feather detail, and as Harshad says, 2 HAs! Colors give it sort of a Field and Stream look. You might try cleaning up the water, but I'm not convinced it would be better than you have it as posted. It might be that the OOF birds on the water help to balance the OOF vegetation above. In either case, very nicely done IMHO.

Great light and you have them right where you want in the frame... your just ahead of them.
All in all I like your image! Its nice getting a couple in flight in the same frame.

I normally don't like merged birds, but in this case it works beautfully...they are aligned just perfectly! I also like the habitat, including the vegetation below. Very well done on this quite appealing image.
