A lot of patching, cloning, spray painting. My goal was to do it a little faster than my usual snail's pace. A good exercise. Added small detail preset which I don't think is entirely successful here but no more time to work on it, so here it is.

Original photo.
Jackie, Nice pp work. I might remove the small twig in front of the tail since you did such a great job w/ the clean up and smoothing. I love the BG color-it is very complimentary to the Chickadee. The small detail preset-was that in Topaz Clean? It looks good. I like the effect. I'm trying to get folks to post both B/A in one pane. Don't change this one but if you do another one. Dave P. had a good idea to put a smaller before so you could put a larger after.
Did my best D to put them one one window but just ran out of steam, yes the small details preset in Topaz Adjust 3.
That is nice pp work, Jackie. Definitely get rid of that one branch covering his tail and you'll have an awesome Chickadee image!
Nice image and application, Jackie.
Only comment has been made. ;)
Ditto the previous comments. Also, I love the way the treatment brought out all the feather detail.
Hi Jackie
When I saw the first image I thought "Aha, she'll be removing that little broken branch and possibly sharpening the tail a bit" Wrong !! Surprise, surprise.
Never guessed there was something above the bird and after several views no indication these branches were ever there, also the lower right distractions.
I am really impressed and don't mind the little twig.

Jackie, nice image as usual. I can relate to the time issues and it makes me appreciate this even more.
Thanks for the comments. Lots of work to get "clean" shots of these songbirds!
nice clean up Jackie. BG's can be more difficult than repairing an
actual subject.
I looked at this yesterday and something bothered me just a bit.
The bird does not have his center of gravity over the perch, rather it is leaning backwards a bit(IMO)
This is a 7º cw rotation.....whatcha think?
Methinks you are right, thanks. Don't know the ergonomics of bird perching yet. Was just a bad guess.
Jackie, a beautiful clean up job - I love chickadees:)

I'm really impressed with the 'cleanups' I've viewed this week.. I really have to develop some patience to do this myself someday. To my eyes, the added detail is just a bit much.. maybe somewhere in between? Really nice work Jackie :)
