One of the more ambitious cleanup jobs I've undertaken! I had to go into the bushes to find this bird, but of course there were branches everywhere... Also done with the clone and patch tools in CS4.

    Default and after...

Here's the aftermath... ;) I did this one several months ago, could probably do a better job now!

PS - just noticed that I missed a bit of branch at the bottom of the image, so this probably wasn't the final final. Too many images, so little time...

Kerry, I like the sharp details and clear eye. Nice pp work. I agree you could prob. do a bit better now, even though this is pretty darn good-you've gotten quite skilled:) Try to put the images on one post so we don't get in trouble w/ multiple posts for this theme. That is also part of the lesson of this theme. I think Dave P. had a good idea to put the before smaller in the frame and then the after can be bigger. Thanks:) BTW-For those of you that didn't see Kerry's Snowy Juvi in Avian, you may want to head over and take a look. Fantastic!!!

    Nice image and application, Kerry.

Other than the branch, which you caught, it is nice.

Kerry, Really nice work! In addition to all the twig removal, I like how you muted the background so that the bird stands out so much better.

What kind of bird is that? I don't think I've ever seen one.

Love the bird, and with songbirds, I guess branch removal is a necessity. Did see your egret in Avian, VWD Kerry. Bosque must have been a blast (pun intented):)

Denise, sorry about the double post. Will combine in the future...

Patti, that is a wrentit. If you look on Wikipedia the picture has so many sticks in it you can hardly find the bird! ;) You pretty much have to go bush-whacking to get these!

Kerry, great clean up job! I've never seen a wrentit - they're very neat looking birds:)
