Looks similar to the Ruddy Turnstone since I am not really familiar with the Philomachus pugnax .
I Like the separation of the three each on his own stone and all in similar position.
A little tight front and back and would have preferred the large rock in background not to be there.
Nicely done. Love all three on the same plane. Could do without the rock in the BKGR. What month? They all look like moderately worn juveniles? OCT?

I'm Confused ! but not unusual for me when it comes to shorebirds and gulls.
Ruddy Turnstone is Arenaria interpres !
Philomachus pugnax is listed as a Ruff in the book I am looking at.
Funny, Ruff came to mind when I read the post and you are of course correct. But the birds are of course Ruddy Turnstones. So it was Pedro and I who were most confused! :)
