    here's one from back in the fall at green cay. hate the brown thingy on the left running into the bird and the lower right corner. no PS.

    this one is with the D50, Sigma 50-500 at 420mm, f/6.3, 1/200s, 0EV, ISO 800, flash fill TTL, -0.7EV.

    Interesting image. What is really whacky is the difference in the colors of the two cheeks. Could use about -8-10 de-SAT on the whole thing. You could work on the BKGR with Quick Masks.

    Cool bird. I'm not sure why the plumage is so soft compared to the face, even the plumage that looks like it should be on the same plane of focus of the face.

    thank you, sir. believe it or not there is no saturation added to that photo.
