Thanks to Steve Cirone & his friend for spotting this beauty near the stairs to the Pelican land in La Jolla. what u see is a 50% crop. minimum modifications in LR.

A handsome bird, sharp,very soft light.

I feel the perch is a big heavy for him, esp. the left end. I might consider cropping it out. I also lightened the bird about 1/3 of a stop.

Just some options for you.

I like the light and pose and the tighter crop Randy suggested. I might darken the sky a bit.
