    Default 3 Spoonies



    Saw 18 of them right after sunrise last Sunday at Ding Darling NWR. I was in spoon heaven.

    I like the light, diagonal position of the birds and the one in front with the open bill and wish we could see a bit more of the head of the bird in the back.

    Great that the front bird was the one to lift its head and open its bill and good head angle on the calling bird. Had the third bird not been there the image would have been better....
